Over the years we've taken many core samples and we have yet to reach the end of the kyanite deposits in our mountains. So we know the mountains contain enough ore reserves to produce Virginia Kyanite™ for at least another 50 years.

Our around-the-clock operation can produce more than 150,000 tons of commercial grade kyanite concentrate every year. The plant capacity can easily be increased if necessary and very quickly. We have the capacity to store more than 30,000 tons of Virginia Kyanite™ and 30,000 tons Virginia Mullite™ 35 mesh in bulk form.
