“G.E.Fanuc robotics has tripled the capability in KMC’s new storage, packaging and warehousing plant opened in 2007. The triple-line pneumatic conveyance system gives us infinite flexibility in filling orders. Each of the eight new silos holds 375 tons of finished products, which we can package at a rate of 15 50-pound and 10 100-pound bags per minute. The new plant has also added 25% more warehouse space.”
