STATE-OF-THE-ART CHEMICAL ANALYSIS LABORATORY IS MAINTAINED ONSITE

Kyanite Mining Corporation maintains an on-site, state-of-the art chemical analysis laboratory. It is equipped with x-ray fluorescence and x-ray diffraction to perform ongoing chemical and mineralogical analyses of product samples during each major processing step. These analyses help us to maintain consistent product quality on a continual basis.

The product is further tested after packaging, when representative samples of packaged materials is sent to the quality control lab for generating certificate of analysis for each truck load of material.

The laboratory, managed by a ceramic engineer, is manned by two full-time technicians. Screen and other physical analyses of representative shipment samples are performed to ensure that the sizing distribution of all Kyanite Mining Corporation products meets our customers’ requirements, as well as functioning as a research center for product development.
