2nd Shift Bagger / Mill Operator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate bagging machines and equipment to fill bags the required quantity of material.

  • Ensure bags are properly labeled and stacked.

  • Operate bag palletizing equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area.

  • Monitor equipment and process parameters and adjust as necessary to ensure optimal quality control.

  • Keeps accurate records of mill process and output.

  • Performs maintenance on the mill if necessary.

  • Obtain samples for testing.

  • Other duties assigned by the plant supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Must be physically able to climb up and down stairs with ease.

  • Ability to lift and move bags up to 100 pounds.

  • Ability to work in a dusty environment.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

  • Maintenance experience a plus.
