Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, keep, and repair electrical systems and equipment following company standards and MSHA regulations. 

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and perform necessary repairs. 

  • Inspect electrical equipment and systems for potential issues and take preventative measures as needed. 

  • Maintain correct records of all work performed, including repairs and maintenance schedules. 

  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and best practices. 

  • Collaborate with other maintenance and operations personnel to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment reliability. 


Qualifications:

  • Must have relevant experience.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems and rigid conduit and components used in mining operations. 

  • Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and procedures. 

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills. 

  • Flexibility (may be required to stay late, work weekends, be on call, etc., if needed)

Outline of Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including climbing ladders and working at heights. 

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials. 

  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. 

  • Good vision and hearing. 

  • Ability to work in confined spaces and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job.
