Electrician
Key Responsibilities:
Install, keep, and repair electrical systems and equipment following company standards and MSHA regulations.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems and perform necessary repairs.
Inspect electrical equipment and systems for potential issues and take preventative measures as needed.
Maintain correct records of all work performed, including repairs and maintenance schedules.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and best practices.
Collaborate with other maintenance and operations personnel to minimize downtime and improve overall equipment reliability.
Qualifications:
Must have relevant experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems and rigid conduit and components used in mining operations.
Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and procedures.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Flexibility (may be required to stay late, work weekends, be on call, etc., if needed)
Outline of Physical Requirements
Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including climbing ladders and working at heights.
Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Good vision and hearing.
Ability to work in confined spaces and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job.
