1st Shift Mobile Equipment Operator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy mobile equipment used in mining operations, including trucks, loaders, dozers, graders, and excavators.

  • Perform pre-start checks on equipment, including inspecting fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, and other safety features.

  • Operate equipment safely and in compliance with relevant safety regulations and procedures.

  • Collaborate with other personnel, such as engineers and maintenance personnel, to ensure that equipment is kept operational requirements.

  • Keep correct records of all equipment usage, including fuel consumption, hours worked, and work orders.

  • Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with relevant safety regulations and procedures.

Recommended Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Demonstrated experience as a mobile equipment operator, preferably in a mining or heavy industry setting.

  • Knowledge of heavy mobile equipment operation and relevant safety regulations and procedures.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
