Office Administrator
Position Summary
The Office Administrator position of Kyanite Mining supports the entire organization by providing excellence in onsite support for the front office activities and management team. The person in this position serves as the primary face of our company as they engage daily with vendors, customers, and employees.
Responsibilities
Front Desk Management & Other Administrative Activities
Courteously manage incoming calls with confidentiality in mind, redirect calls when needed with attention to the urgency required
Greet visitors, including directing them to the correct location(s) within our company
Address or highlight security aspects of management of the front desk area
Manage kitchen and office areas and ensure appropriate use of overall building is maintained, including monitoring of conference room space and secure storage areas
Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages, run errands as needed for team, administer various accounts for shipments
Oversee day-to-day management of designated accounts.
Other duties as assigned
Accounting and Recordkeeping
Process accounts payable transactions, sand sale invoices and statements, petty cash and manual checks, and other accounting entries
Support safety team tracking of yearly basic safety trainings, other data as needed
Ensure phone list is current and communicated across site, in partnership with IT and HR
Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Basic accounting skills
Microsoft office platform including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc.
Intermediate mathematical skills
Strong ability to multitask, and work independently on various tasks
Excellent in positive, professional and prompt communication, both written and verbal
Maintain confidentiality
